Happy Hump Day, Princeton. Did you take a gander at the eclipse on Monday? I have to admit, it was humorous seeing so many of you standing outside staring into the sky. My 4 year-old John kept calling it a “hurricane” for some reason and made me promise I wouldn’t look at it. He was convinced we were all going to go blind that day. I’m glad we didn’t. 🤷‍♂️

Let’s roll.

FAMILY THERAPEAUTIC MASSAGE/HEALTH AND WELLNESS

“Use the power of habit stacking to establish new habits.

One way to create time for what you want to do is through "habit stacking."

This is something that I learned from James Clear from his book, 𝘈𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘏𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴.

Habit stacking makes it easy to incorporate a new habit into your life - all you have to do is stack the new habit on top of an existing habit.

1. Make my bed /while coffee is going.

2. Have a small breakfast/ Read 10-pages

3. Journal/practice gratitude

I often enjoy the view outside as I think about 10 things or people that I am thankful for. I am thankful for always having the opportunity to hike!

I highly recommend having a daily gratitude practice. Gratitude has been proven to boost mood, and when we focus on what we have, the more we have to give.”
