Good morning, mellifluous, resplendent, indomitable Princeton, Illinois. Snow is the best, isn’t it? I love it. I took some pictures yesterday and I posted them below. Correction: Yesterday, I posted a list of businesses that do snow removal. Unfortunately, I gave some of the businesses an incorrect phone number. I should’ve double-checked those. I’m sorry. I put an updated list below, with correct phone numbers — I added a few more as well.

• BCR: PHS boys bball defeated Kewanee 61-55 Monday evening. Noah Laporte had 18, Jordan Reinhardt had 14.

• Sergeant Dan Jaeger signed off from duty for the last time. The community of Princeton is incredibly grateful for his service. Dan saved three people’s lives in Feb. of 2022 after helping them escape from the roof of a burning building.

• After 9 years as a firefighter, Eli VanAutreve has been promoted to Lieutenant.

• Fundraising Opportunity: Buy cake and support the Bureau County Senior Center. Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Carrot, Confetti, and Classic Vanilla are all available. Individual “bundlet’s” cost $6. • The Princeton Chamber of Commerce is releasing a calendar of events soon, featuring the Red Covered Bridge, in conjunction with many local businesses in town.
