Princeton Girls Basketball is announcing a girls' basketball camp scheduled for Monday, June 17 to Thursday, June 20. It's open to all girls entering grades 2 through 12 in the fall of 2024. The camp timings are divided by grades: Grades 2-5 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, Grades 6-8 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, and Grades 9-12 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Flyers with more information will be available at each school soon.

The Princeton Junior Woman's Club has opened registration for the 2024 Safety Town, an essential program for teaching 4 and 5-year-olds all about safety. Taking place June 3-14 at Douglas School in Princeton, the deadline for enrollment is May 4th. Under the guidance of teacher Erica Lenihan and Officer Friendly Alex Jaramillo, children will learn from both adults and teen volunteers. Tuesday: Showers in the morning will lead to windy conditions with the development of thunderstorms in the afternoon. The day's high will reach 77Ā°F, and the chance of rain is quite high at 90%. In the evening, thunderstorms are expected to continue, potentially bringing severe weather. The temperature will drop to a low of 61Ā°F, and the chance of rain is 80%.
Wednesday: It will be mostly cloudy with gusty winds in the afternoon. The high will be around 64Ā°F, with winds from the west-southwest at 20 to 30 mph. Partly cloudy conditions will prevail in the evening with a low of 47Ā°F and winds shifting west-northwest at 15 to 25 mph.

On Wednesday, April 17, the hours extend from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday, April 19, the fair will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. The proceeds from the fair will be used to buy books for the school's library.
