🚶♂️PEDESTRIAN SAFETY FOR WALKERS
From the Illinois Department of Transportation
Stay safe while walking by following these important tips: Always walk facing traffic if there’s no sidewalk, and be sure to cross at corners or crosswalks where drivers expect pedestrians. Make yourself visible by wearing bright colors or reflective gear, especially at night—flashlights are a smart choice too. Stay focused on your surroundings and avoid distractions like phones or earbuds. Let’s all do our part to keep our streets safe for everyone.
