  • KWQC: ā€œThe Illinois Department of Transportation will begin a two-year, $36.8 million construction project on Interstate 80 beginning March 11. The project will span nearly 10 miles of Interstate 80 in Bureau County. Construction will resurface I-80 from Bureau-Henry County line to east of the Illinois 40 interchange.ā€

  • BCR: ā€œHeartland Bankā€™s Sara Hudson is giving a presentation 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Princeton Public Library regarding banking fraud, who is accessing your information and how to protect yourself.ā€

  • The Police Department is hiring. Applications can be picked up at 605 Elm Place.

  • Early registration for the Bureau County Fair Queen Golf Outing ends April 12th. There will be a $500 cash prize.

Today: Expect a cooler start to the week with the low hitting 30Ā°F early in the morning, between 2 AM and 3 AM. Conditions will improve significantly throughout the day, leading to a high of 66Ā°F between 4 PM and 5 PM.

Tuesday: The temperature will dip slightly less, with a low of 45Ā°F early in the day between 6 AM and 7 AM. The high for the day will reach 67Ā°F in the mid-afternoon, between 3 PM and 4 PM.

Wednesday: Similar to Tuesday, the morning low will be 47Ā°F between 6 AM and 7 AM. The day will warm up to a high of 68Ā°F in the late afternoon, specifically between 3 PM and 4 PM. Slight chance of precipatation.
