🐹LETTER FROM LORI

So, what do you think about this snow? That was unexpected! What else in your life has shown up unexpectedly or has changed the course of your plans? Did you throw your head back, roll your eyes, and scream like Charlie Brown when Lucy snatched the ball away during his kick? Did you lie on your back and whine? Did you stomp and flail? Or perhaps you put on your game face, hopped to your feet, and moved forward. Maybe you took that moment on your back to reevaluate your goals and adjust your game plan. Perhaps that speed bump that slowed you down momentarily was meant to allow you to see the situation more clearly so you could proceed more cautiously and with more thought. Maybe you saw an obstacle you could avoid because you weren't running willy-nilly.

We all have goals, desires, and things we hope to accomplish in life. Is our path ever straight? Do we ever go from point A to point B without a hitch in our giddyup? Has anyone, ever, since Moses encountered the ocean keeping him from the Promised Land, reached a goal without a change in the original game plan? Remember, even when you don't see how you will get there, God does. If He doesn't give you a way through, He might give you a way around, over, or maybe even under. The trick is to trust and have faith. So, the next time life throws you a curveball, will you see it as a speed bump or a brick wall?
