KWQC: āThe Bureau County History Center discovered a mother and daughter buried at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton were survivors of the sinking of Titanic in 1912. On Saturday, the center opened an exhibit dedicated to the story of Nellie Becker, and her daughter Marion, surviving the disaster before settling in Princeton from 1927 to 1945.ā

Bureau Township Community Church is having an Easter egg hunt this Saturday. Come ready to āhuntā at 11am. They will also be serving hotdogs.

The 2nd Annual Bureau County Fair Queen Pageant Golf Tournament is Saturday, May 11th at Spring Creek Golf Course in Spring Valley. Registration is at 8am, the shotgun start is at 9am. The Princeton Fire Department will host KWQC meteorologist and PHS graduate Cyle Dickens for a weather event presentations on Thursday, March 14th at 6:30pm.
