PHS Boys Bball will play Bureau Valley this evening at 7:30pm. The Regional playoff game will be played at Prophetstown High School.
Princeton Christian Academy Lady Eagles Bball defeated Depue last night 33-14. They have advanced to the BVEC Conference Championship Game Thursday.

PHS 2024 Senior Class: Is your dream to become a teacher? Want to work in the medical field? Are you going to enroll at IVCC this fall? Graduating PHS Seniors have one more month to apply for PPSF Scholarships. Deadline is March 20, 2024.
Volunteers are needed for upcoming Chelsea Gives Back fundraisers. Chelsea is in need of at least 20 volunteers per event: 1) Saturday, April 27th - 9:45am-1pm at Freedom House for the Chelsea Gives Back Soap Fundraiser. 2) Saturday, August 31st - 7:45am-12pm at Chelseaās house for the Chelsea Gives Back Charity Mum Fundraiser. They will unload the truck of chrysanthemums and load into vehicles.
Clocks will "spring forward" one hour at 2 a.m. on March 10.

Special guest DāLisa Flannigan will be at the Second Story Teen Center Friday, February 23rd at 7:30pm. āA product of the Chicago public school system, she continued her education at the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. Many would say that she was born into ministry as she was reared as a pastor's kid where it was never personal but always ministryā¦Her platform is to give women, young and seasoned not only a reason to live, but to live for Christ.ā

The River Bend Food Bank Mobile Pantry will be in Princeton tomorrow at the Bureau County Fairgrounds. Registration starts at 9am with food distribution beginning at 10am; please arrive no more than 30 minutes early.
The Pancake and Sausage breakfast at the Bureau County Fairgrounds will be March 3rd from 7am-1pm.
The Huge Winter Sale at the Bureau County Fairgrounds will be March 9th, beginning at 8am.
Royal Family Kids Bureau County will host a comedy night March 9th. It is a fundraiser to benefit abused, neglected, and abandoned children with a week-long camping experience. Fundraiser offers a walking taco, dessert, popcorn, silent auction, and an evening of improv, starring Well Versed Comedy. The event will take place that the Simon Conference Center, 446 Elm Place at 5:30. Tickets are $25.
The Friends of the Princeton Library is hosting the Spring Book Sale beginning Wednesday, March 13th, for members only. Then Thursday the 14th-Saturday for the general public.
The St. Pattyās Day 5k Run and Party is March 17th at Barrel Society.

222 Ale House in Tiskilwa is looking for cooks.
Construction at Numosh Park has begun. They are installing a concrete sidewalk at the entrance, as well as a concrete pad within two fenced-in areas. During these times, the park will be closed.
Bureau County
Braveheart Children's Advocacy Center is having their 2nd Annual Superhero 5k Run/ Walk fundraiser in April! They cover Bureau, Henry, Marshall, Putnam and Stark counties. They also are always looking for volunteers for our events and tasks around our center.
IV Times: Bureau County residents have a median age of 44, as of 2021.
