  • Logan Junior High School is organizing a Scholastic Book Fair. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on April 15, 16, and 18, which fall on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesday, April 17, the hours extend from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday, April 19, the fair will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. The proceeds from the fair will be used to buy books for the school's library.

  • Gateway Services is hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Shandy's Pub & Grub. Today: expect rain with possible thunderstorms. The high will be around 52°F, with east-northeast winds at 10 to 20 mph, and an 80% chance of rain. Evening conditions will likely include steady rain with showers continuing late into the night. The low will be around 40°F with the same wind conditions and an increased 90% chance of rain, with potential rainfall nearing a quarter of an inch.

Tuesday: a rainy day, with a high of around 43°F and north winds at 15 to 25 mph. Rainfall could be near a quarter of an inch, and snow may mix in, raising the chance of precipitation to 90%. The evening will turn mostly cloudy with potential snow showers after midnight and a low of 33°F. The northwestern winds will decrease to 10 to 20 mph, with a continuing 60% chance of snow.Wednesday,

Wednesday: windy conditions will bring light snow in the morning, transitioning to rain and wet snow in the afternoon. The high should be near 40°F with northwest winds at 20 to 30 mph.
